Turned up & tuned in: How energy efficient is Birmingham's Town Hall?

Energy Check Graphic Landscape

Town Hall and Symphony Hall host over 800 events across two iconic venues each year. From lighting the stage to flushing the toilets, each event has a real world impact on local people, buildings and the environment.

As one of Birmingham’s most versatile venues, Town Hall has been a hub of civic and cultural life in the city for more than 180 years. The Birmingham landmark has welcomed artists such as David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Alexander O’Neal, Caitlin Moran and everyone in between.

Earlier this year, The Energy Check became the first ever Official Energy Partner of Town Hall (read more here), reviewing the venue’s overall energy strategy to improve THSH's efficiency and sustainability.

We’re thrilled that The Energy Check have highlighted an annual cost saving at Town Hall, enabling us to continue to offer musical projects that have the power to change lives

Nick Loveland, THSH Chief Operating Officer

Town Hall’s experienced Technical team harness this energy to deliver exciting performances for audiences each night.
