We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been selected as one of 40 organisations to receive a Weston Jerwood Creative Bursary. The Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme is run by Jerwood Charitable Foundation with the support of Garfield Weston Foundation, Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust.
This bursary will allow us to provide a paid work placement to one talented graduate from a lower income background. Now thanks to this much-needed support we’ll soon be recruiting a Jazzlines Creative Assistant to join our team. Our new Jazzlines Creative Assistant will play an instrumental role in supporting our highly regarded Jazzlines programme, and we are excited to be bringing on another pair of hands who will further enhance our programme and project delivery.
Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries will support graduates from low income backgrounds into entry level roles, providing hands on experience within their host venues. We are proud to be one of the organisations selected to play a part in shaping the future of arts sector graduates.
