Performances Birmingham (PBL) is a charitable trust, responsible for managing Town Hall and Symphony Hall (THSH), two iconic venues at the heart of Birmingham. Together they present an exciting and varied performance programme designed to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds. At THSH we strive to deliver a high quality, wonderful customer experience at our two world class venues. Having the right people within our organisation who can be passionate advocates for what we do gives us the best chance of consistent success.
As such, we are looking to start a volunteering programme with a variety of roles.
About the roles
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a charity committed to providing brilliant live events to the widest possible audience.
We want people who are interested in being part of an already successful team, responsible for ensuring that all of our guests have the best experience from the moment they decide to visit us.
We have a number of volunteering opportunities and they are as follows:
- Accessibility Assistant
- Customer Liaison Assistant
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people with a friendly, diplomatic approach to customer care and who have an interest in the arts and live events. Because this is a new venture for THSH, we want people who are not afraid to contribute fresh ideas and are willing to grow into these roles.
Please note: you must be 20+ to be a volunteer.
How to apply
You will need to commit to a minimum of one event a week for at least three months. In return you will gain valuable customer care and event support experience within two world renowned venues.
If this is something you would like to be a part of, please read the volunteer role profiles and if you want to apply, please download and complete the application form and equal opportunity form and return it to us as soon as you can.
Completed applications should be returned to: email@example.com, or if you prefer you can send it to us by post to:
