Coronavirus / COVID-19

Our venues are currently closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Box Office team will continue to process a large volume of refunds and contact audiences electronically with updates as soon as they are able to do so. The Box Office counter and phone lines, however, have now also been closed.

As we agree with event organisers that performances will be postponed or cancelled, we will contact those customers who are affected as soon as possible. The lost income from events in our halls will pose serious challenges for us. We are making every effort to find alternative dates for postponed performances within the next 12 months. Thank you for your patience while those conversations take place.

Stay Connected Online

Music has the power to bring people together and we are pleased to support audiences as they come together in the safety of a digital space. These iconic concert halls have the power to change lives, entertain and uplift through music. They cannot be silenced.

Facebook Watch Parties

While our iconic venues are closed as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, the music plays on.

Community Spirit 2

Together with Black Voices, we are preparing some digital workshops so community choir participants can continue to sing in unison online.

Thank you for your continued support

As a music charity, every day that Town Hall and Symphony Hall are closed puts the livelihood of musicians and artists, staff and suppliers in jeopardy. The current COVID-19 crisis will dramatically limit our ability to present the many learning, talent development and community engagement projects that form a vital part of our work and positively impact almost 20,000 young people and adults each year.
